One of the most aggressive industrial environments for coatings
Pulp and paper mills combine permanently high relative humidity, water vapor, organic and inorganic acids, chlorides and sulfur compounds from the Kraft process - a cocktail of agents that quickly degrades coatings not engineered for this environment. Structures protecting digesters, bleaching stages, washers, silos and internal walkways need systems with a strong chemical barrier and corrosion resistance across a wide temperature range.
